- Do you know Poinsettias are tropical perennials, they can be easily be found in wild and grow really tall up to 10 feet. Since they are tropical plants, they require lots of light, high humidity, and some warm temperatures.
- Poinsettias go in their dormant phase after spring, and its the best time to prune them. At this time plant need less water.
- During summer, poinsettias will regrow again, this is the good time to repot them and feed them with a good quality fertilizer in every two weeks.
- When the holiday season is around you need to start a dark routine for the plants, by keeping them in a dark spot for 12 hours or so and give 6 hours of light. After a month of this routine, once the buds appear discontinue the dark routine
